Rebecca Forster-Haig (aka ‘Boo’ to her friends) is qualified Sports Therapist who is experienced in all aspects of sporting activities and injuries. Tenures include Help for Heroes treating injured veterans.
Since qualifying, she has worked in private clinical practice, treating patients with physical-activity related injuries across a wide range of ages and abilities. She ensures that her clients feel confident and comfortable during treatment so that a tailored, impacting programme can be achieved.
Boo has a keen interest in all aspects of treatment and rehabilitation and sees tailored specific manual therapy as the key to recovery. She is committed to following and supporting individuals from the point of injury and on to becoming fitter and stronger than before.
Using professional and personal experience to aid her diagnosis and treatment of injury, she will aid those preparing for or recovering from any challenge. Whether it be your first marathon or first walk without pain; Boo believes everyone has the potential and right to train, play and live a pain-free healthy life and aim to facilitate this with her treatments!
Boo has fitness and sport at the very centre of her life, competing in trail and road running events as well as cross terrain adventure racing. She is also a very keen golfer (when not having babies!) playing at county level for many years as well as a plethora of other sporting interests.
Since becoming a mother, she has had first-hand experience understanding the importance of fitness during pregnancy and also post-natally. She since undertaken a pregnancy massage course and has recently qualified as a pilates instructor to teach pre/postnatal clients.
